Well, the beady-eyed facist is at it again.

It used to be that the World Health Organization could pick a specific expert from amongst U.S. scientists as a consultant. Now, William Steiger, a special assistant to Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson, said in an April letter that WHO can no longer do this. His office will be responsible for vetting scientists and assigning the "appropriate" expert to consult with WHO.

Said experts must advocate U.S. government policies. Well, here is Bush trying to politicize science. Since his policies include a ban on stem-cell research and advocating abstinence as the only acceptable method to stop the spread of AIDS, only right-wing scientists can pass muster with Steiger's office.

Basically, Bush has reneged on another promise he has made: the open search for scientific and medical evidence.

Just another step towards the facist state that this administration is trying to create.

WAKE UP, PEOPLE!
