The same group that gave us Bush has just handed the beady-eyed facist a resounding defeat.
In a 6-3 vote (one can guess who the 3 are), the Supreme Court has ruled that the detainees at Guantanamo Bay can use the American courts to dispute their imprisonment.
I am not speaking out in defense of these people, but rather, I am speaking to right the wrong that has become our legal system in regards to them. They have been held without charge and without access to legal representation, in other words, in limbo, for more than 2 years.
This is wrong. This flies in the face of what America is all about. We are a nation of freedoms and this travesty has been a facist statement against that.
